Hugh C. Becker Grant Recipients

The Hugh C. Becker Grant Committee of the Twin Cities Chapter of Muskies, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of grants for 2025. With these awards, the total of benefits issued since the beginning of the program in 2008 will be over $2,350,000.00. For 2025, amounts totaling $111,500.00 were dispersed – not including carryover of funds of $10,000.00 (Twin Cities – stocking); $5,858.00 (Twin Cities – stocking); $3,500.00 (Mid Iowa – equipment); $1,000.00 (First Wisconsin – habitat); $6,000.00 (Capitol City – stocking); $7,600.00 (South Dakota GFP – equipment).  2025 grant recipients are:

• Michigan Muskie Alliance for the purchase/setup of a Laser bird deterrent system for their hatchery.

• Youth Conservation Alliance (YCA) for their youth fishing/education programs.

• Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail for their scholarship program.

• Musky Mission Complete for their Veterans Outing.
