The Twin Cities chapter is the founding chapter of Muskies, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the single focus of improving the sport of muskie fishing everywhere the fish are found.
Our chapter meets monthly except in the summer and throughout the year holds three fund-raising events: the Sportsman’s Banquet in the winter/spring, and two muskie tournaments in September. Funds raised at these events are used primarily for supporting our local muskie fishery, stocking muskies, supporting the MN DNR and its hatcheries, and providing fishing events/outings for youth, veterans, and other outdoorsmen.
Monthly meetings are open to everyone and we invite you to come join us. This is a great opportunity to meet, learn and share experiences with other like-minded people who are passionate about fishing for muskie.
During our meetings we discuss things related to Muskies, Inc., our chapter and other topics. At most meetings we invite a guest speaker – generally someone well-known in the muskie world. Drawings for prizes from lures to rods conclude each in-person meeting. Besides muskie fishing, the Twin Cities Chapter is involved in a number of other activities. Each of these activities is a great experience for everyone involved and is another way we give something back to our community.
Monthly meetings are scheduled at 7 pm on the second Tuesday of each month except July and August. Currently our meetings are being held virtually. In non-covid times we meet at the Bloomington Event Center, Knights of Columbus on 1114 American Blvd W, Bloomington, MN.
