The league is open to Twin Cities all chapter members. League days are Wednesdays starting at 5 pm and some Saturdays. September and October are chapter meeting outings on Tuesdays. Most weeks have a choice of 2 lakes, east or west metro. We will gather in the parking lot or another designated location after fishing hours (except on Saturdays). For bigger lakes with more than one parking lot, we will designate which lot we will gather.
Cost is $20 per person. Anglers can join the league any time during the season. Others who want to participate must join the chapter. Partners do not have to be league participants, however, points can only be counted for those who have joined the league.
Have a deck of cards in the boat with you. Each league day we will announce (by email, on the website and Facebook) the card for that day. You must report back to tcmi.fish@gmail.com within 48 hours of a league event in which you participated. Include your name, the lake, your partner’s name. Also include 2 photos (bumpboard and holding) of any fish over 30″ caught. The bumpboard photo must include the card of the day.
Scoring
- Points for fish use Muskies, Inc. rules: 10 points for a muskie over 30″ and 1 point for each inch over 30″.
- 3 points for participating in a league event.
- 5 bonus points if your partner is a junior, a member of another chapter, or a non-Muskies, Inc. member and they join the league. Each partner counts only one time.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of the season to the top three anglers by points earned. Winner holds the league traveling trophy until next year.
